Why I Go Barefoot: On Resistance, Presence, and the Politics of Skin
(Thanks to Mike Berrow for sharing this link)
"In an age where protest is often performative and personal freedom is marketed back to us as lifestyle branding, there is something quietly subversive about choosing to walk barefoot through the world. - by Bunny Fitzgerald"

Barefoot Runners may not be the fastest runners in the world. Though there are occassionally a barefoot runner or several who have been, are, or will be the fastest. I'm not one of those, except that local race one time where the fastest runners did not show up!
Over the past few decades Ken Bob's Original Barefoot Running website has helped folks run better. Ken Bob's Original Barefoot Running website has helped many who could not run in shoes without debilitating back, knee, and hip pains, just to be able to run without pain, and with joy and have FUN!
Then there are others who are fast enough to get sponsorship, often from a shoe company. And then they certainly won't be racing barefoot anymore.
Ken Bob's Original Barefoot Running website is maintained by Barefoot Ken Bob Saxton. I do not have a staff of programers, writers, coders, etc.. Ken Bob's Original Barefoot Running has no advertisers (other than links to buy books or other relevant products mentioned in articles - from which I do not profit - except for royalties on "Barefoot Running Step by Step". No sponsors either. Nor do I (and probably will not in the future) rely on Artificial Intelligence to compose articles for this website.
What I'm trying to say, is, "BE PATIENT"!
During the past couple years this site has been hacked by folks trying to lead you to some sites so they can soak you for money! So, now I'm rebuilding, gradually, and manually...
What I'm STILL trying to say, is, "BE PATIENT"!
I do not work full-time on this, because I want to get out and walk or run frequently (so does my dog), as well as other parts of life, cooking, eating, sleeping, etc., etc., etc.. Basically, living and enjoying life!
