Always Remember…
- Running Barefoot should be comfortable (on almost any terrain)
- Running Barefoot should be easy
- Running Barefoot should be FUN!
If any of these are not true for you right now, thenplay with how you are running until it is more comfortable, easy, and joyful.

Dave Parsel took his Crocs off 1/2 mile into the race, Boeing 5K (2012 May 14) Seal Beach CA
Summary
Psycho Herman (our dog) ran with me in the monthly (2nd Monday of each month) lunchtime Boeing 5K in Seal Beach CA
Statistics
- 5 Kilometer
- 8 pairs of Bare Feet (2 people and 1 Dog)
- Herman (with Ken Bob Saxton) 53:44
- Dave Parsel 22:11 (started 2 minutes late)
Story
We started out with Nelson the race director, and were soon passed by Dave Parsel who had showed up late in his pair of generic “Crocs”, but took those off when he caught up with us about 1/s mile into the race. That makes 8 pairs of bare feet in today’s event (including my pair, and Herman’s 2 pairs of bare feet).
