  • Santa Monica California

Summary

Depending on how I feel and the weather, and if I have acquired a bunch of cheap fruit to share (or if someone else volunteers to bring some fruit), I will be bringing the BarefootRunning.com canopy to the Los Angeles Marathon (2013 March 17) and if no cops bother us, I’ll set it up near Mile 23 on San Vincente Blvd. I should be there by 8:00AM  or 9:00 AM so we can watch the lead runners and wheelers.

We are not affiliated with the Los Angeles Marathon. If you want to volunteer to join us, just show up at the canopy… if you can’t find the canopy or Ken Bob, click here to Find Ken Bob on a Map (you’ll need a smart phone or other portable computer with internet access)

Contact

You can just show up in the morning. Still it would be cool if you contact me to let me know you’re coming.

Story

Any runners I catch with my camera running barefoot can download those pictures for free later in the day, at BarefootRunning.com.

Volunteers (especially barefoot volunteers) are welcome to join us, and help slice and hand fruit to runners, walkers, wheelers, crawlers, etc…

  1. Ken Bob, Thank you for coming out to support us during the 2013 LA Marathon. See a familiar face at one of the toughest miles toward the end made all the difference!
