Barefoot Running Step by Step (2011)

Always Remember…

  1. Running Barefoot should be comfortable (on almost any terrain)
  2. Running Barefoot should be easy
  3. Running Barefoot should be FUN!
If any of these are not true for you right now, then play with how you are running until it is more comfortable, easy, and joyful.

Post Help With Vivobarefoot RA Shoe for office use

Hi, I'm new in this forum and also new to the barefoot world. For the last past month I've been using only Luna Venado sandals and when not using them I'm barefoot.
I've also doing a lot of exercises with my feet in order to get more strength and flexibility, not running yet because I want to progress slowly.

Everything feels perfect and now I want to use only sandals when not completely barefoot, but I cannot do that when I go to the office, fortunately I only go to the office once a week.

The problem that I have now is that after a month of transforming my feet now I cannot use my regular shoes, they are too narrow in the toe area, I have a pair of Merrel Gloves that a month ago were fine but now I feel that my little toe is not getting any blood, yesterday the sensation lasted a few hours after I removed the shoes, and I didn't use the shoes all day because when I was on my desk I removed the shoes, so I was wearing toe socks most of the time but I now that I cannot keep using those shoes.

Worst of all I now that I'm just starting on my feet transformation and they will get wider.

So this is my question, do you think that the vivobarefoot RA shoe or similar will be wider enough in the toe area?
I think that this question is for anybody out there that use most of the time huarache sandals or nothing at all and has experience with vivobarefoot.

BTW: I'm from Chile South America so it is impossible for me to try the vivobarefoot shoes before buying them.

Regards,
Andres Cuevas

I have no personal experience with these (because I can work barefoot), but you might check out (others have reported good experiences with them):

Thanks Bob, I like the fact that I can send them my measures. I will definitely give it a try.
