Barefoot Running Step by Step (2011)

Always Remember…

  1. Running Barefoot should be comfortable (on almost any terrain)
  2. Running Barefoot should be easy
  3. Running Barefoot should be FUN!
If any of these are not true for you right now, then play with how you are running until it is more comfortable, easy, and joyful.

Sponsors

Advertising

General advertising on the Running Barefoot website is limited to random Amazon and Google advertisements, and a few specific advertisements for products and services which are offered by the Running Barefoot organization (which is basically Ken Bob Saxton). To keep the site from becoming excessively cluttered and prevent too much detraction from our mission to help people understand how and why barefoot running helps prevent injuries, make running easier and more fun, we do not accept general website ads from other companies (other than those randomly generated by Google and Amazon, most of which appear in the far-right column).

We would, however, love to help those who provide direct sponsorship to barefoot runners around the world…

Sponsorship

We offer sponsorship opportunities for those interested in getting their advertisement on a specific event post. For example, if you provide transportation and/or lodging and/or race registration, etc.. for a barefoot runner in a specific event (race, Barefoot Running Step by Step book-signings, convention, meeting, emporium, etc.) we would be happy to post an event report from that barefoot runner, author, etc., and feature your logo and a link to your website (or for example an Amazon ad for your product as shown at right) in that post.

All content, of course, is subject to our approval of your product, advertisement, and the article content – which may edited for language, length, and appropriateness for this website . This offer, of course, is also subject to approval by the sponsored runner. If you don’t know a barefoot runner, let us help you find one in your specific or un-specific area (ie: Rockport Maine, Indiana, Portugal, or Earth)

Contact

Contact us if you or your company is interested in sponsoring barefoot runners or Barefoot Running Step by Step book-signings (with Barefoot Ken Bob Saxton and/or Roy M. Wallack).

This contact form is for publicity contacts (journalists, etc.), invites for barefoot running guest speakers, offers of sponsorship, RSVPs to events, etc..

If you have questions, comments, or stories for and about running barefoot, want to reach out to the community of barefoot runners, or are curious why you got injured by running in "barefoot shoes", please post these publicly to benefit from and add to our global knowledge base about barefoot running. This idea of sharing our stories, questions, comments, etc. is the reason Barefoot Ken Bob Saxton established the original Running Barefoot website in 1997. You can find and read most, if not all, of those answers in some or all of the following places;

If your question hasn't been answered yet on any of the above forums, all the more reason to post your question publicly so your question and the resulting answers can be shared and help others as well as yourself.
