Barefoot Running Step by Step (2011)

Always Remember…

  1. Running Barefoot should be comfortable (on almost any terrain)
  2. Running Barefoot should be easy
  3. Running Barefoot should be FUN!
If any of these are not true for you right now, then play with how you are running until it is more comfortable, easy, and joyful.

Barefoot Running Step by Step (2011)

You must LOVE pain! 01

If I loved pain, I would be wearing SHOES!

It wasn’t running barefoot that left my feet raw and bleeding during my first marathon. It was friction and heat inside my shoes! I have since completed 79 marathons barefoot, and a total of more than 400 races barefoot, with only a small fraction of the pain and injury incurred by my shoes during that single first marathon (and only one I’ve ran in shoes).
