Surf City Run 5K

Story

Last year, on July 4th, I walked the Surf City Run (5 kilometers) with my dad (Ken Bob) who had broken his foot at the end of May last year. Which is one of the reasons we walked the distance instead of running. Also I was pretty old (12 years) then. Now I’m only 13 years young (91 dog years).

Without Ken Bob’s broken foot slowing us down, I was able to shave several minutes of my finish time this year, despite being more than 91 dog years old. Maybe I will be able to finish in under an hour next year! Maybe?

Statistics

  • 5K (3.1 miles)
  • 1:03:34 (nearly 4 minutes faster than last year’s;  1:07:31).
  • Walking with Psycho Herman
  • etc…
