Rae's Run Across America
Summary
I’m organizing escorts and people to provide transportation to and from start and finish locations for the final days of Rae’s Run across America.
The tricky part is that in most cases we’ll need two drivers and two cars (at least if all those providing transport wish to run the whole distance for that day with Rae). We would leave one car near the finish location, and drive a second car to the start location to start running.
At the finish location someone drives the first car (full of sweaty runners) from the finish location back to pick up the car at the start location.
Forget all that. Some of the start and finish locations are places I wouldn’t want to leave my car for a few hours. So, we’re going to try to park extra cars another place away from those areas. Then someone, who doesn’t want to run, or at least doesn’t want to run the whole distance that day, can drop runners off at the start location, then meet us along the route every 2 or 3 miles to provide water, snacks, or switch driving duites with another runner (not Rae, she must run the entire distance!).

Story
Mostly we’re going to want to get a bunch of folks to greet Rae or run with her the last few miles to the beach. We would like people to shower Rae with flowers, gifts, pizza, gold, diamonds, etc.. But mostly we want people to CHEER LOUDLY as she finishes the historic record (she will be the youngest person ever to run across the United States.
Oh yeah, and she’s running barefoot (mostly)
