Barefoot in the Snow

Summary

Wim Hof has trained his body to warm up when he is exposed to extreme cold weather. Most of us have some capability to run barefoot in the cold, or even the snow… at least for a short time, but probably longer than you might believe, especially if you run back inside to warm up as soon as you feel the initial cold. Had you stayed outside, especially generating heat by running, your body would adapt somewhat to the cold in a few minutes. Of course, we should be wise, like children who play in the snow in cold climates – when you’ve been out in the cold for a while, and become uncomfortably cold, go inside and warm up. This is wise whether you’re barefoot or not.
