Story
Ken Bob Saxton explains how and why barefoot running has helped thousands (perhaps more), and can help many more people reduce the risk of chronic pain and injuries typically associated with running in modern running shoes, and why running in the new crop of minimalist footwear, or racing flats may not yield the same benefits, and is often associated with their own dangers and injuries.
Saxton further explained and demonstrated how barefoot running (truly barefoot) can actually be less risky, more safe (not perfectly safe — sorry, that’s life!) than many assume.
Saxton also explained why barefoot runners rarely discuss, and also answered, the often asked question; “What about broken glass?”

I love that clip. I watched a runner jumping for a few miles this morning. She also has bad knees and had thick sorbithane insoles. These things may be linked.
