Roy M. Wallack, R.I.P.

My good friend and co-author (Barefoot Running Step by Step) passed away this past weekend. Doing one of the things he loved – Adventure Mountain Bicycling.

I have many shared memories with Roy, most pleasant. Deep emotions surface while writing a book together, especially one as personal as Barefoot Running Step by Step. I’m not trying to make this a promotion about our book – but that was an intense experience we shared working on a very personal (for me) project. We joked about Roy being my therapist, as we dug “deep into the mind of Barefoot Ken Bob.” And at times, before, after, and especially while writing the book together, he would be my best friend.

  1. Ken, I am very sorry to hear this and offer my condolences to you. I never met Roy but knew he was a big part of your book which has, no doubt, changed people’s lives in terms of how they run (i know it did change mine). May Roy rest in peace.
