A study is being conducted at Texas State University in San Marcos Texas in the Biomechanics/Athletic Training LAB, that is looking into balance in Barefoot and Shod runners.
At some point we might be able to travel to test subjects, However the schedule would be limited in that case.
If you run at least 6-9 miles a week in a true barefoot condition (not VFF or similar but naked bare feet) and are 18 to 50, have not a lower extremity injury in the last 6 months and have no issues with balance, then you can see if your training has even more advantages than you thought. The process can fit your schedule and is a one visit study only. No need to return multiple times.
A chance to help with BF research and see it first hand.
This research is currently happening and we would like to finish up by February.
Thanks for your help
