No one else showed up, and there was a beautiful sunset at low-tide, so I started out on the usual dark evening path, but the sunset and the hard-pack sand at the edge of the water beckoned to me, and I responded by cutting down to the beach to run at the water’s edge for about a mile (until the tide started coming up too high). Then ran back home on the greenbelt in Sunset Beach.
