I read your article on running the Road Less Traveled in 1997. I didn’t realize that was your first barefoot race.
I have met you several times at road races over the years.
The last time was several years ago at the Brea 8K.
I am 73 now and most of my running is behind me.
Now I am the Race Director of a trail series in Chino Hills State Park. Our next race (March 9th) interestingly enough is similar to the Road less Traveled. The start is at the State Park’s new Discovery center 4500 Carbon Canyon, Brea,geRetp carpenter just east of the Carbon Canyon Regional Park. The course goes up North Ridge to Sycamore then down to Telegraph and back to the start.
